Kore Belts

Legends, Lore & Lies* - Shortly after the raid on Lindisfarne in 793 AD, which ushered in the Viking Age, we traded in our 'man-skirts' and kilts for an apparel item that covered and protected both legs.  They were known by a variety of names; breeches, trousers, and finally just pants.  The famous Viking Ragnar Lothbrok was known for his pants.  Lothbrok means hairy/shaggy pants, a name given to him because he wore these pants to defeat a snake that was terrorizing a kingdom… but I digress.

This innovative fashion (like many others) led to another problem, we needed something to hold them on.  The darn things kept falling down as we jumped off the ships coming ashore to raid and pillage.  Pants around the ankles did nothing to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies and a few even laughed.  They say necessity is the mother of invention so the belt was conceived, but not perfected.

For nearly 1200 years mankind has been improving upon the belt… and without much success I might add.  But then the smart lasses and lads over at Kore Essentials finally did it.  They perfected the belt with their ratcheting adjustment system that allows for 40 different micro adjustments.  After a night of feasting one always needs to let the belt out a little.  Get blown off course and discover a new world, but miss a few meals in the process?  It requires tightening the belt until you can find a village to raid and resupply.  One belt that does all that, without any holes to wear out and loosen up over time… and easily holds up a waistline of weapons.  Innovations like Kore belts only come along once in a millennia.  Why are you still wearing a belt designed in the Dark Ages?  Get with the times.  Get a Kore Belt!
